The Oxford Police Department works every day to truly mold our operations into a true partnership with the Oxford community as a whole. We have established an approach called the “PACT” (Police and Community Together), which is the umbrella for all that we do in the establishment of policing strategies which are focused on a “what works approach” to law enforcement. Through this working partnership between residents, business, civic organizations, churches, other government agencies and community groups, we can reduce crime and disorder in our city. The Oxford Police Department, in the spirit of the PACT, will be aggressive in dealing with all criminal activity, ruthless in our efforts, yet fair in our pursuit. Take a look at our newest tool to report criminal activity in Oxford. Although in an experimental and developmental stage, the Police Activity Map gives you a visual on areas where criminal activity is occurring. We welcome your feedback and recommendation. Look us over. We are here to serve you. John M. Wolford |
